Steps
- Break chocolate into pieces. Set aside.
- Heat on medium heat on stove: milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir and heat until very hot, but NOT boiling. Stay with it - you don't want it to boil or scorch.
- Add chocolate pieces to the hot milk mixture. Lower heat and stir until chocolate is melted.
- Remove from heat and whisk until the mixture is a little foamy (2-3 minutes. If you have a stick blender - use it!
- Serve hot (of course) with marshmallows on top and a cinnamon stick for garnish.
