2 cups flour
1 & 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
​1/2 tsp sugar
1/3 cup butter + 1 tbsp
1 & 1/3 cup half & half
  1. Sift together all dry ingredients.
  2. Add butter and milk.  Stir.
  3. Knead on a well-floured work surface.
  4. Roll out and cut with a biscuit cutter of greased bottom of a glass.
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 10 biscuits.
