Breakfast Chiles

Ingredients
1 cup half & half
12 ounce can whole green chiles
1/2 cup flour
2 eggs
12 ounces Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
8 ounce can tomato sauce

Steps
- Beat together eggs, flour, and half & half until smooth.
- Cut the chiles in half (lengthwise) and remove seeds
- Dip chiles in the egg batter.
- In a buttered 8 x 8 baking dish, layer one-half of the chiles and about one-third of the cheese.
- Then repeat the layer of chiles and cheese. Top with remaining egg batter.
- Pour the tomato sauce over the top and sprinkle with the rest of the cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Let stand for about 10 minutes before serving.
