Courtney's Con Queso

 My niece, Courtney Ricker Dale, used to make this when she was a teenager!

Ingredients
​Velveeta processed cheese block - 8 ounce (or 16 ounce for a crowd)
 jar of salsa - spicy as you want
tablespoon or two of water
Serve with tortilla chips.
Steps
  1. Melt Velveeta cheese in a large bowl in microwave.  To melt: add a small amount of water to cheese; remove from microwave every few seconds and stir, adding a  bit  more  water if necessary.  
  2. Stir in Picante sauce to taste.
  3. Serve with tortilla chips.
