Here's a video from Martin's Savory Foods on how to make the tree-shaped one.  Little bit different recipe, but try either one!  https://recipecenter.martinsfoods.com/recipes/231672/christmas-tree-cheese-ball
Ingredients
1 (8oz.) package cream cheese
1/2 cup crushed cracker crumbs
1-1/2 cup cooked chicken or turkey (optional)
3 tbsp chopped black olives
2 tbsp chopped onions
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup   milk
1 cup grated cheddar cheese or Monterey Jack
2 tbsp chopped pimiento
2 tbsp mayonnaise
parsley, red pepper strips, and cherry tomatoes for garnish
Steps
  1. Blend softened cream cheese with milk, add crumbs and cheddar cheese; blend until smooth.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, except parsley; mix well.
  3. Pack into a 1 qt. bowl or mold lined with saran wrap.
  4. Chill several hours.
  5. Form into a wreath or a tree flat on a platter and sprinkle with parsley.  (It's easier if you cover it with saran wrap while shaping it.)
  6. After you've shaped it, sprinkle all over with finely chopped parsley.  Then decorate the tree with the cherry tomatoes, and red pepper strips.
