Buttermilk pie

This is an old, old recipe by Ruby Tallent from Mississippi.  It was originally featured in the Jackson County Fair Cookbook.
Ingredients
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 stick melted butter
Steps
  1. Mix together in order given above.  
  2. Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie crust.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes at 450° F, then 30 -35 minutes at 325° F.
