Caramel Latte

no alcohol / gluten free
A fantastic eye-opener!

Makes 2 cups.
Ingredients
1 cup, strong brewed coffee
1 cup milk or half and half
2 Tablespoons caramel syrup or dulce de leche (reserve some for topping)
whipped cream 
dash of cinnamon
Steps
  1. Brew coffee.
  2. Pour milk into a small saucepan on the stove and heat it until hot, but not boiling.  Remove from heat and stir in caramel syrup.  Using a fork or a whisk, stir the mixture a bit.  
  3. Pour 2 cups of brewed coffee into mugs or cups.  Top with milk mixture.
  4. Add a dollop of whipped cream to the top of each cup and drizzle with caramel sauce.  Sprinkle with cinnamon.​
