Cheese Apples

Ingredients
2 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp apple juice
1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Steps
  1. Soak sesame seeds in apple juice for about an hour at room temperature.
  2. In food processor, with blender, with mixer, or with your hands - mix together the shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, mustard, Tabasco, and sesame seed mixture until well mixed.
  3. Divide the mixture in half and make into an apple or round ball-shape with your hands.
  4. Sprinkle the balls with paprika.  Then put half a cinnamon stick and two of the leaves in the top of each to make them look like an apple.
  5. Refrigerate until firm, preferably overnight.
(I have made this without the sesame seeds, but keeping the apple juice.  No problem.)
