Cocada (Coconut) Candy

If you love coconut, you'll love this VERY EASY traditional Mexican coconut candy!

Ingredients
3 & 1/2 cups shredded sweetened coconut
3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup pecanschopped small
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 325° F.
  2. Spray a 13-by-9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or grease with butter or coconut oil.
  3. Stir together all ingredients in a bowl .  Spread evenly into the baking dish.
  4. Bake at 325° F for 25 minutes or until coconut is golden brown with crispy edges. 
  5. Let cool before cutting into squares.
