Cold and Creamy Avocado Soup

Delicious as an appetizer on a hot summer day!  Enjoy a delicious shot of this soup!  OR - enjoy a whole bowl.

Ingredients
​4 ripe avocados
2 and 1/2 cups of chicken broth, room temperature or chilled
juice of two fresh lemons or limes
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
1 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco or other hot sauce
dash of Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons rum or vodka (optional)
cilantro for garnish
Steps
  1. In a blender or food processor, purée the avocados with a about 1 cup of the broth, until smooth.  
  2. Pour into a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Stir and chill for at least 2 hours before serving. 
  4. Garnish with cilantro leaves and serve cold in small bowls or shot glasses!
