This is perfect for a Hot Cocoa Bar at at party or gathering. My friend, Chloe, used to make this for her very special Christmas parties. It’s super easy and can be left for guests to serve themselves. Just remember to stir a bit every hour or so.
Ingredients - Makes 10-12 servings.
6 cups whole milk
2 cups heavy cream
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (I use Hershey’s.)
*1/2 cup sugar - you may need to add more later.
8 ounces semi-sweet baking or bar chocolate, chopped
(not chocolate chips)
2 teaspoons vanilla
Garnish /Toppings: mini marshmallows, whipped cream, candy canes, chocolate shavings or chips, fudge or caramel sauce
