Heavenly Candy

gluten free / vegan
Daddy's favorite candy for Easter.  We always bought the Elmer's brand made in New Orleans.  This is Daddy's  homemade version of Heavenly Hash!

Ingredients
48 miniature marshmallows
1 cup chopped pecans
1 lb milk chocolate, sweet (dark chocolate, if you're Vegan - check the label)
Steps
  1. Boil water in bottom of a double boiler.  Turn off heat.  Place chocolate in the top section of pan (not in the water!) and stir occasionally until melted.  (or just microwave chocolate, stirring until melted)
  2. Line a baking pan with waxed paper.
  3. Pour in 1/2 of the melted chocolate.
  4. Cover with marshmallows and chopped nuts.
  5. Pour rest of chocolate over the top.
  6. Cool and break into pieces.
