This is perfect for using in place of canned soups in casseroles.  It's condensed, or concentrated, so you'll need to add further chicken sock or water to make into a soup.  Alternatively, use in place of canned condensed soup in casserole recipes!
Ingredients
1 & 1/2 cups chicken stock
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 clove minced garlic
1/4 tsp. freshly-ground black pepper
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1/4 tsp of your favorite dried herbs (oregano, tarragon, etc.)
Steps
  1. In a large saucepan bring chicken stock to a boil.
  2. In a  bowl, whisk together milk and flour until the flour is dissolved.
  3. Slowly pour the milk/flour mixture into the boiling chicken stock, stirring well to combine.
  4. Stir in remaining seasonings. Bring ring the mixture back to a very low boil, stirring constantly over low heat so that the mixture doesn't stick.
  5. Boil gently until thick.
