It was a Colle tradition to make peach, but Gloria Colle Ford made strawberry.  I remember Charles Ford making the peach ice cream in the summertime.  The Colles had family ice cream parties with all different flavors & cakes. The kids use to crank it until the electric ones...    You can use either peach or strawberry for this recipe!   The ingredients and the instructions are a bit vague - but try it!  It's a great homemade ice cream recipe from Pascagoula, Mississippi.
