It was a Colle tradition to make peach, but Gloria Colle Ford made strawberry. I remember Charles Ford making the peach ice cream in the summertime. The Colles had family ice cream parties with all different flavors & cakes. The kids use to crank it until the electric ones... You can use either peach or strawberry for this recipe! |

 The ingredients and the instructions are a bit vague - but try it! It's a great homemade ice cream recipe from Pascagoula, Mississippi.
2 pints half & half 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1/2 pint whipping cream 1 T. vanilla sugar to taste mashed peaches, strawberries or fruit of choice (about 2 cups) sugar to taste (about 1/2 cup) enough milk to finish filling the freezer Freeze according to your ice cream freezer directions! |
