Fantastic sauce for bread pudding and cakes!

Ingredients
1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup half and half
1/4 cup rum (dark is best)
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1/4 cup butter

Steps
- In a saucepan, over low heat, stir together the sugar, corn syrup, cream, and butter. Stir constantly until it boils.
- Cool to warm, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in rum and vanilla.
- Serve over cakes, ice cream, or just eat it with a spoon!
