Steak Sauce

Ingredients - Makes 1 & 1/2 cups
1/2 cup orange juice

1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vinegar (Balsamic vinegar is nice, but any will do.)
2 tablespoons mustard (Dijon is best.)
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
1/4 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)

1 tablespoons hot sauce (Tabasco, etc.) - OPTIONAL
Steps
  1. Bring all to a boil over medium heat in a saucepan, stirring all the time.  Cook for 2 minutes while boiling.
  2. Remove from stove and let stand until room temperature.
  3. Mix in a blender or with a hand blender until fairly smooth.
  4. Store in a very clean jar or bottle with a lid and refrigerate.
  5. Keeps for about 3 months when constantly refrigerated.
