Tiny Pecan Pie Tarts
These are just fool-proof and so delicious! Great to make the night before a party or holiday get-together!
Tart Shell Ingredients
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup all-purpose flour

Tart Shell Steps
- Combine cream cheese and butter in a small bowl; stir until smooth.
- Add flour, mixing well.
- Chill dough about 1 hour; roll into 24 (1-inch) balls.
- Place in miniature muffin tins, shaping each into a shell.
Filling Ingredients
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tbsp butter, softened
1 egg
2/3 cup chopped pecans
dash of salt
2 tsp vanilla
unbaked tart shells (recipe included)

Filling / Baking Steps
- Combine sugar, butter, egg, salt, and vanilla in a small bowl.
- Beat at medium speed until just smooth.
- Stir pecans into filling.
- Fill each tart shell about half full, as the mixture will rise in baking.
- Bake in 325° F oven for 25 minutes or until they are lightly browned. Don't over bake!
- Let cool then remove from muffin tins with a knife.
