Vieux CarrÉ

gf / v
The Vieux Carré is a classic New Orleans cocktail.  Walter Bergeron, the Carousel Bar's head bartender at the Monteleone Hotel in New Orleans, is credited with its origin in the 1930s.  He named it Vieux Carré (old square in French) as a tribute to the New Orleans French Quarter.
