White chocolate pretzels

Appetizers and Snacks
A fun holiday recipe from my sister-in-law, Pat!   I could eat an entire bowl.     My other sister-in-law, Jane, and I made dozens and dozens of these over the years during the Christmas holidays.

I'm willing to bet that if you were alive and eating solid foods in the 1980's, you'll remember eating these during the holiday season.  Once we tried our first bite, my mom, my sister-in-laws, and I were hooked!
We bought bags and bags of pretzels and many bars of white chocolate.  Everyone received a tin of these for Christmas presents - for years!
Once you start dipping pretzels, it turns out it's hard to stop with just pretzels.  We soon branched out to potato chips and even tortilla chips (not a good match).
Despite the passing of time, I still love these - the salty and sweet taste always gets to me!
When children (and even teens) are helping in the kitchen, always use safety first as your motto!
Supervise carefully and pay attention to details.   Remember - YOU are the responsible one.

This recipe can be fun to make as a family.
When children are involved, make sure an adult is heating up the chocolate and carrying it to the workspace.
