White Christmas Mousse

So easy to make... It's great for a dinner party.  It looks especially elegant serve in fancy goblets at Christmas.  I made it one year at Christmas time for Steve Wannamaker, Mom, and me - no dinner party, just yummy dessert!

Ingredients
1 package white baking chocolate - 6 squares
1 & 1/2 cup whipping cream, divided
nutmeg, grated
cinnamon
2 tbsp milk chocolate (optional), shaved
Steps
  1. Melt the white chocolate and 1/4 cup of the whipping cream in the microwave on high for one minute.
  2. Stir and return to microwave for one more minute or until it's almost melted.
  3. Remove from microwave and stir until it is completely melted.  Remove from heat and cool to room temperature - stir if you remember.
  4. Whip up the rest of the cream until it forms soft peaks.  Don't beat until stiff.
  5. Fold the whipped cream (half at a time) very gently into the white chocolate mixture until just blended.  DON'T stir or mix.
  6. Gently spoon into goblets, cups, bowls, or wine glasses.  Chill in refrigerator for 2 or 3 hours before serving.
  7. Garnish with chocolate shavings, sprinkles of nutmeg and cinnamon, or fresh fruit.
  8. Put on some Christmas music, maybe "White Christmas" and enjoy!
