So easy to make... It's great for a dinner party. It looks especially elegant serve in fancy goblets at Christmas. I made it one year at Christmas time for Steve Wannamaker, Mom, and me - no dinner party, just yummy dessert!
- Melt the white chocolate and 1/4 c of the whipping cream in the microwave on high for one minute.
- Stir and return to microwave for one more minute or until it's almost melted.
- Remove from microwave and stir until it is completely melted. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature - stir if you remember.
- Whip up the rest of the cream until it forms soft peaks. Don't beat until stiff.
- Fold the whipped cream (half at a time) very gently into the white chocolate mixture until just blended. DON'T stir or mix.
- Gently spoon into goblets, cups, bowls, or wine glasses. Chill in refrigerator for 2 or 3 hours before serving.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings, sprinkles of nutmeg and cinnamon, or fresh fruit.
- Put on some Christmas music, maybe "White Christmas" and enjoy!
