Ingredients - Coffee Liqueur Substitute
1/4 cup warm water
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 teaspoon instant coffee
1 teaspoon vanilla
Ingredients - Mocktail
4 Tbsps Kahlúa (coffee liqueur) substitute (see ingredients above)
1/2 cup cold coffee
1/4 cup milk or heavy cream
Steps
1/4 cup warm water
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 teaspoon instant coffee
1 teaspoon vanilla
Ingredients - Mocktail
4 Tbsps Kahlúa (coffee liqueur) substitute (see ingredients above)
1/2 cup cold coffee
1/4 cup milk or heavy cream
Steps
- Make the coffee liqueur substitute by combining ingredients and stirring until all are combined and sugar is dissolved. Let cool before using - you can refrigerate for 5 or 10 minutes.
- Fill a cocktail glass with ice. Pour in the cold coffee and the sugar and coffee mixture you made in Step 1.
- On top, pour the heavy cream.
