Hamburger Stroganoff
A recipe from my niece, Cindy Ricker Hurlock
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp salt
14 tsp paprika
1 can cream of chicken soup (see homemade substitute)
snipped chives
hot, cooked noodles
1/2 cup minced onion
1/4 cup butter
2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp pepper
1 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 cup sour cream
1 lb ground beef

2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp pepper
1 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 cup sour cream
Steps
- Brown ground beef in pan and drain.
- Saute' onion and garlic in butter.
- Stir in browed beef, salt, pepper, mushrooms, flour, and paprika.
- Saute' for 5 minutes.
- Stir in sour cream; sprinkle with chives.
- Serve over fresh, hot noodles.
