3 tablespoons of the grease and meat drippings from the skillet
OR 3 tablespoons oil 3 tablespoons flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 2 cups milk or cream *If you're cooking this for the chicken fried steak you've cooked, skip Direction #2.
**If you're cooking for biscuits or other foods, skip Direction #1.
