Mama used to make 4 or 5 different pies at Thanksgiving and Christmas!  They were lined up on the counter.   Those Ford sisters (Susan and Chrissy) used to come over and rave over the pies, making Mama so happy!

gf -  Many of these pies can be GLUTEN FREE by simply changing to a gluten free pie crust!!   Or in the case of Key Lime Pie and Margarita Pie, just switch the graham cracker crumbs in the crust to gluten free cookie crumbs.  Animal cracker ones work great!
BONUS - I've written a short story named, "The Great Chocolate Pie Saga".   It's named after an adventure many years ago, while making the recipe for Mama's Chocolate Meringue Pie.   It's both heartwarming and funny - please enjoy and don't be afraid to make the pie! ​
