Jalapeño Ranch Dressing or Dip

It's a dip - it's a sauce - it's a salad dressing!  It's delicious and versatile...

​Ingredients - Makes 1 cup
1/2 cup buttermilk  (Make your own substitute:  1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar + 1/2 cup milk)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup fresh cilantro, chopped fine 
2 tablespoons jalapeño, chopped fine
zest of 1 lime (no juice, please)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 tsp black peppers
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
Steps

1. ​Whisk all ingredients together.  Chill.
